Hey, moving here from a stupid forum

Hey every one, im new to the 240sx, but ive had a 200 for quite some time, great little gas car and every thing, but i want a real sports car now. I previously used 240sxforums.com but today i decdided to switch because they are all complete *******S, you CANNOT ask any question, ever, if you ask a qeustion they all just complain about searching, even if it is like "what would you guys do if you had 11 grand to buy a car and mod it, i want an all around car with as close to 400 hp as possible, and keep it reliable. they all just flamed and said that im stupid and need to know what kind of powerband i want and to search. So im trying this forum to see how friendly its inhabitants are! I ordered my redtop sr20det the other day, im rebuilding it for a capstone shop class in my senior year of highschool, and like i said i want to get it to 400 hp and have an all around good looking car, i really wanna do a S15 front end conversion on an S14, but i cant find a 5 speed S14 around here AT ALL! so im rebuilding the engine, should keep me occupied until i can find a 5speed. Ill be meeting all of you sooner or later im sure, so peace out for now!

Welcome to the family/forums. Good luck on finding a 240. Isn't a 200 FWD?

Yep its FWD, its basically a nissan sentra SE, only with 2 doors, and slightly different tail lights. But i had a pretty nice system in it, and it was all riced out, but hey i LOVE my 200sx i cant wait to see how i enjoy the 240!!! my friend was a salesman at a large ford dealer, and they had an auto 95' about a year ago, all stock and you could do pretty nice burnouts with the KA with an auto trans, cant imagine the Sr20det with a manual!! WOOT my engine should be here in about 5-6 days now.

lol, basically when you ask a question you want to prove that you have done some reasearch. Like I had a couple questions about some suspension componets. So I search around online to see if I could find out any tech. info or installs that I could learn off of. Then when I still had a question I included the info that I had found to prove that I wasn't just being a lazy a$$ having others do all my work and thinking for me.

We're all a-holes when it comes to searching, if it's a topic that has been covered abillion times... or was asked in a seperate thread every 3 days or so.

Coincidence - I went from a 200SX SE-R to a 240SX SE... but my cars were never riced out, heh.

Anyhow, welcome to the forums it's good you have a plan set in mind, now for th emost part you can also keep yourself busy by using the 'search' button here - there's a lot of useful info on everything you planned.
