Everyone make's fun of me cause im from hick-ville and what not but these Cali guys are always talking bout doin' the nasty to their cousins. [note: southern accent] Well guy's i star school tomorrow.

there ya go... lol. Yeah, its official, my stereo rocks the house. I registered 108.7dB today at a local audio place where i bought my subs, 2 12's in a sealed box with my good ol alpine 757 powering em. With only about 300w between them, i was MAJORLY suprised.

im running 2 memphis audio 12's i think the model number is mc124d. They are dual 4 ohm voice coil subs. They are in a sealed box (for now), so they hit really fast and clean, like a good 10, but move a lot of air like a 12 should. They have this funky *** "double roll surround" which helps sq a lot. It looks like a normal surround, with a second one around it... its weird ill get a pic. And my amp, i could swear puts out 2x as much as its rated rms power.it says it puts out 300w rms bridged (to mono) at 4 ohms. I have my dvc's running 8 ohms in parallel, creating a 4 ohm load. And with 300w, i would have expected a lot less. This amp has surpassed my expectations. as far as interior speakers, im still workin on that. But about the dB reading, you cant hear but about 1/3 of it inside the car cuz its got insulation like a mothafu<k, cuz its an acura. DAMN! when i get my new box and put these in my 240, its gonna blow the hinges off the hatch i swear. I would recoomend these subs for just about anyone looking for a good low price woofer. At about 150 a piece they arent that bad. But later on im gonna replace my alpine amp with a memphis mojo amp... ohhhh yeah! (look it up, and see for yourself) and i want my 240's license plate to say "badmojo" lol.
