Dsm guy here.......
Hello there my name is Nick. I actually work for Buschur Racing which are dsm specialists. I am contemplating a sell of my 1995 durango copper gsx w/ 23k original miles (all br built) in order to fund a project I have wanted to do for quite some time now. This is my plan:
240sx W/ BR built 4g63 engine.
Tremec tko 600 transmission
quartermaster clutch, bell housing, hydralic tob and so on
T67 turbo kit - A little big for what I want but, it will look better than a 20g or something.
Aem ems
Custom wire harness
Hopefully just setup for nice street cruising. I dont want a drag setup or drift.
The rest is yet to be seen but, again I am just contemplating this at this point. I am on here looking around for ideas, infomation and possible cars to be bought. If this is to happen I will let everyone know of it. Thanks for the space and comments of course are welcome.

Yea I figured it would be. I mean I am deff. not opposed to getting a good 240 with sr20 or rb26 swap as long as it is done right which is my concern. Especially since I do not know a whole lot about the 240sx and the engine platforms commonly swapped into them. Atleast with the 4g63 I know what is needed and whats going on, lol. I am basically looking for something different and I have always loved the Nissan chassis. So we shall see.
Daniel, our service department manager already did a 4g63 swap into a 1949 ford truck. It is a great streat rod for sure. I just ordered the tremec tko transmission and all the quarter master parts. If it works I am onboard and will be making this a reality soon after hopefully.

i wasnt thinking either i was thinking of him turning the engine sideways and doing rwd lol. if its FWD your looking at then dude your wasting your time and money (not that i got anything against fwd just seems like a horrible idea)
now if your going AWD or even RWD then go for it

From the looks of this picture I would say you are correct sir...LOL
So why don't you do a 240 with a KA-T, and do the DSM ecu swap for an instant 400WHP, and 420LB/FT of torque..... It seems more realistic and reasonable.
BTW horrible tag line to promote Buscher Racing, when you don't know WTF you are talking about...

Welcome to the forums. I'm not quite sure how your swap is going to work, but keep us updated on the progress.
I haven't seen anything like this done before either, but I'm sure with the right amount of $$ it's do-able.

he is probably going to turn the motor to make it rwd, the starquest guys do a 4g swap in there cars and they are rwd. that is the transmision he is getting, dont think its going to be fwd from the looks of the tranny

Its going to be a rwd. Just like with the other cars we have done. Of course this will be more of a street cruiser though.

We have done some other customer cars that have been street driven and they worked out great.

I do not know what this is suppose to mean but, seing as how we do not do anything really for 240s, or any nissans for that matter I did not feel the need to advertise my screen name as Nick@buschurs as I do in the many other forums that are related to the cars we work on daily. I know what I am talking about, thank you sir(if that comment was directed to me at all) I just wanted to come here and possibly meet some nice people and get some good information and ideas for this project. If you have a problem with me please pm me to let me know.
Also to answer another question you brought up. The reason why I MAY ( it is not set in stone that I wont) not go with a nissan motor is simply due to the fact that we have done many other 4g63 rwd swaps and it is the motor we work with day in and day out.
