WTT: My 93 MR2T for s14 w/ sr20

Possibly for trade.

93 MR2T
66k
Great Condition.
http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~alwu/page

That page should have all the info you need and recent history
on maintenance and modifications.

Whats wrong:

Cosmetically:
- A ding on the gas cap (pic if requested)
- a noticeable scratch on the side piece of the 3 piece spoiler
- scatches on the front lip

Mechanically:
- AC needs charging

Pictures: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~alwu/page/gallery.html

Id say its in great condition for a 10 year old car. All service records available. Timing belt done. 60k service done.

your car looks really nice, but I think that trade might be a little onesided, your offer might go over a little better if you throw in something else. i would do the trade but i dont have an SR. if i did, that might be a different story.

uofa,
Thanks for the info. Im new to 240's so i'm probably a bit off on the pricing. I looked at prices for s14.5's (im refering to 97+'s, is this the correct term), and found that blue book is around $8000.
I dont go by blue book for my car b/c of the rarity/collector's item factor. What would be a reasonable price for a s14.5 w/ sr or a s14 w/sr? Thanks

that pricing is without a SR, If a 97+ 240 had a SR installed....then u will be looking at..up to 11 grand.

Yeah, i guess i wasnt clear enough in my previous post. I meant the 8k was for cars without the SR's. But thanks price info.

honostly, I think you have a better shot of getting the car you want if you put in some money extra or something. Even though you consider your car a collectors item, its still a 93, the "kouki s14s" (s14.5 is usually used as a term for a S14 with a sr20 and s15 front). Plus you may also get screwed since the SR swap may not be perfect. I think your better off doing a trade your mr2 for a 97-98 240sx and then just paying for the swap and engine yourself so you can get it done the way you want it. You got a nice car, just MR2's arn't my thang :-D
