Some of my car-toons..*56K warning* couple of big pics
I have a hobby of re-doing cars in photoshop, to look like drawings...
this one was created off of one of my paper drawings...
here's the paper version of the previous pic..
and here's the current one im working on...
all are done on Photoshop...
let me know what you guys think..

thanks for the comments, guys.
like i said in another post, up until friday, i was a Toyota loyalist..
im doing a black 90+ s13 fastback next, so look for it in a couple
as for how i drew them..
i just select the area i want, on a different layer (i never once touch the original pic), and it's mainly just color sampling with the pipet tool, and filling it with the brush/bucket tools...
it's pretty simple, BUT, it takes a LOT of time...

Good stuff. I remember a while ago I started doing this also, but school got in the way of me finishing all the cars I wanted to do and I never picked it up again. Might start it up again.
The difference between yhis and mine are the edges. He uses a lot of soft edges while amine are more defined. Looks good nonetheless. It does take a lot of time and patence to do this though. There was a tutorial online that I found that helped me get started, but I forgot where it is. If I find it, I'll post it up for you guys t try out.
