so yea, ka never spun but all bearings were copper. lol i guess that was enough to make it knock.

anyways i buy this block from a friend, cylinder walls are butter, looks perfect. So i flip it over and start taking it apart to check for wear, ect. And i find out cylinder #3 spun over. damn it.

Heres the block, looks pretty clean with all my **** on it, doesnt cut it tho. I just had to flucking buy a bad block. meh, piston rings look brand new tho, just need to get new bearings and all that and ill be good to go.

only gonna cost me like 200 bucks to have brand new bearings and have my crank checked out so im not too bummed. Basically going to have a brand new Ka now.

shes been sitting for like 3 weeks now. im hoping this wont take longer than a couple of weeks.

here you go amod.

Motor was fine. Suction caused cylinder #3 to spin when i was messing with it. Motor sat for a couple of years on the side of someones house so i guess that can happen. W/e, went ahead and rebuilt in anyways.

Brought the block up to work and built it there with a couple of techs. Had access to a solvent machine and sand blaster so that was pretty nice.

Honed the block, milled the head, rings, bearings, gaskets, all emissions removed, nismo mounts, arp head studs. Its all timed and ready basically. Just need to bolt up my clutch and tranny and get an engine lift.

I'm sad that you are leaving for a week. Now I have to wait to see your car run again. It's been like 2 months for me lol.
