Unfortunately from what I hear, it's not coming to theaters in the U.S

So i say we make a petition.

 

i think it will be ripped and fansubbed before its petitioned to be here, but im with ya. the trailer's been around for a while, but is it finally out? i neeeeeed!

when it comes out in the asian countries, just go down to your local chinatown, and wham, for 8 bucks (or more depending on quality) youve got your very own initial d live action movie ^_^

That movie looks really good. I wonder how many cars they went through during production, and who's actually driving the cars.

 

Wow some good actors too. Anthony wong and Jordan Chen! My favorites.

BTW Anthony wong as the dad is hilaroius. It's perfect.

My only gripe is that its a chinese cast, except the chick, so i'm assuming it'll be in chinese. Oh well.

 

id you watch initial d subbed, then theres no real diff. im not complaining.

This is so cool! I can't wait to get my hands on it. And I guess my parents always talking to me in cantonese is actually paying off for me because I understood what he said in the beginning of the trailer! Now I won't have to strain my eyes reading subtitles.
