Driving Suit Pictures . . . . New and Old

Welp, I can't sleep, LOL! And a friend of mine, Doug, asked a few weeks back if I could upload pictures of my new G-Force Racing Suit and Auto Pro Racing Systems gloves after mentioning them on the radio show.

Figured I'd post em up just for fun. The new suit is all shiny and pretty, it makes my old fire suit look almost dated. I love em both though and sometimes even the Black Stig needs an alter-ego . . . .

Some say . . .his sheets are woven from the toe-nails of cockatoos . . .

. . . . . .

. . . . . . . . .

And that if he's really thirsty, he drinks diesel. . . .

All we know is . . .he's called Aluminum (British Accent) Stig . . .

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, it's funny as hell! I love it! The PRE suit is a closer fit, but the G-Force suit is very comfortable and has very good cooling.

Well a friend of mine works for G-Force so he was able to get me the suit for practically free, I think it's only about 500 or 600 from G-Force though, the Peak Racing suit was only 300.

LMAO! And that's for a lower end SFI competition fire suit . . .the really good ones, the triple layer ultra lightway lastan and nomex ones can go as high as 1500 to 2000 just for a suit. Helmets can climb up passed the 1200 dollar mark as well as seeing gloves and shoes surpass 300!

This is definitely a "Pay-to-Play" sport

Not really. Thats the norm. Hell a few years ago a HANS device costed you over 1k. I think safety is one thing you dont want to go cheap on as far as cars are concerned. I mean you obviously dont need a 2k dollar suit but at least buy one that is up to date, comfortable, and fire retardent.
