its missing a stud in the rear passenger wheel, and the front just has a smaller lugnut.

so tomorrow, i will finish up removing the sound deadening, paint the cage/roll bar deal and install. i also finally got an alignment so ill measure out my coilovers and make my car level, i might even weld myself a exhaust since i got a Y pipe. oh and hopefully install rons RUCAs if he lets me borrow them until he needs to trade them for something i have.

im also looking for 5 lug hubs, if anybody has, let me know.

I knew about bigger wheel selection. But is there any other advantage other than that, like strength or anything like that? I guess I'm just not a wheel ***** like the rest of you.

That looks extremely pointless. It doesnt look like it would do anything. Did somebody ghetto-fab it?

my friend's friend welded it. i suppose its pretty pointless, but not much more than a convertible 240, except for the main hoop itself which keeps my body from being crushed in an event of a roll, the harness bar which keeps my spine from snapping in the same situation, and considering how flimsy my 15 year old hatchback is, it actually helps restore a bit of rigidity. it is actually for sale, unless ron wants it, and if i dont sell it, its a decent enough platform for me to add on to.

Hey man. Just cuz its a 240 doesnt mean it has to be a full on race car. Vert = sex. Thats what I was getting at anyways. Add on to it. I've heard that 2 point roll bars collapse easily in rollovers. It could even fold over and crush you. Two bars going straight back should help.

^^^ its a 3 point and it is very useful. First there IS a bar that comes back to the rear seat area and keeps the main hoop from folding in a rollover. Second it has a place to secure 5-point harnesses. Third, it stiffens the chassis more than a strut bar could ever do.

-I like convertibles, except for the whole automatic-thing and the fact that they weight like 500 pounds more than a stock 240.
