Yu 2 r funny. But I have seen a 240 go past 5k with a auto ecu and a 5spd swap. And yes he did have an lsd. Maybe he did do something else to get rid of the limiter, but i didnt think so. I'll ask nex time i see him.

****** an eyebrow* any..way... yeah the auto ecu will remove the 5000 limiter because it doesn`t talk to the transmission the way the manual ecu does, so you don`t have any limiters, iThink... iKnow there`s more than one, the speed sensor at 120 and then a gear sensor at 5000, then there`s the revv limiter, but you don`t wanna screw with your revv limiter on a KA.

youre right about auto ecu's and no rev limiter. that accounts for natural slippage of the torque converter. But there is a speed limiter. Of course you still have the rev limiter at like 7k as usual.

So whats the speed limit. My speedo goes about an inch past 120. I have an auto ecu with a 5spd tranny. I thought I said that but i guess i didnt.
