perfomance ka24e cylinder head

i'm going to rebuild, port, polish, mill the head slightly to get around 9:1 compression and get a new pdm cam for my e. but i need to find a good head set (all gaskets seals ect) also need to get as much info as posible about taking the head off. i know i need to set it to tdc but how do i know if its on its compresion stroke. also i need help and info regaurding the timing chain and sprockets.
any info or links would be great and i like pics.
thank
oh and i'm also planning on getting a upgraded mafs but i'm not sure what one to use 300zx, 93 cobra, or something else.

If you are going to Turbo up ur car I'd go with Cobra Maf since its more hp Capable than the 300ZX TT Maf ,but if you are really hp **** rententive the Ford Lighting should be your choice since it can hold up to 600whp

Instead of milling the head, you can go with 1998 KA24de truck pistons, but your compression will be at (11:1).

dont have that any money for that but i have allways wondered if there was a nother stock piston that would raise compresion on the e. imagion that piston in a 240 with a de wouldnt that be interesting, like 20:1 compresion!

From what I understand I think Z32 or one of the 300ZX cars pistons fit our 240s but I dont remember where I read some is not really concrete info.
