why no headers? that would help alot with getting rid of back pressure. you could go with a high flow cat if u dont already. another thing is get some bigger injectors, and upgrade the fuel pump. you could also get a high power ignition system from MSD or Crane. some underdrive pulleys would free up some hp too

if you want to dig into the engine you can get the head rebalanced/worked and a port job would help, new spark plugs/plug wires might help just a tad, im not sure what ecu options they got but im sure you can find something, lighten the flywheel, and all the other basic little tricks people do

if you're going to stay NA unless yo ustart building the engine you are limited. A header is a great idea because if you already have an intake and exhaust the header will actually add more rwhp. Other than that you're very limited.

well to a caertain point you can still do good stuff with a NA but it might cost more $$ to get it as fast as a turbo and depends on what kind of performance your really looking for like low end/top end power etc. but going turbo is a beautiful thing but NA aint that bad either though.
