Well we decided to take a look at the bottom end and do a compression test and with the compression test it was in the 175 across the board... but we came to find out that the motor is not gettin any lubrication because of the oil pick up tube or sumthin like that but yeah now they are gonna check the crank to see if it scorred or damaged.. all i wanted was my car to run and now im having to do a complete rebuild on this B*tch... I cant complain atleast i kno it will be reliable lol

was the engine running or was this reading from just cranking it. the oil pressure is mainly determined by the engines rpms. that's assuming you have a proper seal. so depending on how it was tested 20psi with three different pumps would lead me to believe that that's not a problem.

the piece found in the pan, are you sure it's from the block and not a part of a the timing chain guide?

1)He is reading it with the engine running and 20psi is the car just idling at around 700 rpm but cruising around 3500rpm 20psi is not going to do anything... He tested it with the guage and revving up im guessing..

2) im positive its not a part of the timing chain guide because we just replaced that like last week..

What we did:
complete rebuilt head
all new seals
Water pump
Timing chain
New rod bairings
new wire harness
Removed egr valve
and a couple other things when i remember i will list them

i'm not sure i understand could you rephrase this. with the engine idling at 3k rpms you should have 60-70psi though.

sounds like it's time for a complete tear down and rebuild. if you do go through with this make sure every thing is torqued to spec and all clearance measurements are within tolerance.
