Now thats a reasonable price! I've seen them go for 1k+ minimum for Miata's

now let me sound extremely ignorant here, where/what would filter the air going in. ive seen ITB's before but always wondered about that.

good question, quite reasonable! it ITB cars, you basically have 2 choices for filtration, and it depends a lot on the style of engine management you plan on using! if you are going to use a maf based system, then you will have to have a manifold to hold the air from the maf, and distribute it to the itb's, as well as having a regular cone style filter or such on the maf (maf wouldnt last very long running open ) ala bmw m3 or toyota 20v. your other option is to run a speed density em system, or use map/tps for your fuel/timing tuning......: motorcycles, bmw m3 CSL, and lots of other cars. now for a map system, you dont necessarily need to filter the air, many run these systems open. this is generally ok for a full race motor, but imho for a road car or in a dusty climate is totally unacceptable. thus, you could run ITG or pipercross filters, which are basically like a little sock to fit onto each velocity stack, (and also used on carbed setups) or you could create a manifold just like used on a maf system, but with better flow in mind.....custom ram air setup with a specail flow tuning of some sort.
hehe, hope i answered your question

well ill see how they turn out, and if they work well i could produce the manifold relatively, keep in mind this is hand laid fiberglass by me...(could use carbon fiber in the future......now wouldnt THAT be beautifull!) and is VERY time consumning so i'd have to sell a few or charge a bit for them to make it worth my time. there are around 10 companies offering carbon fiber manifolds available for bmw m3's (to replace stock manifold) that cost well in excess of 600$ to like 2000$.....and thats just the manifold!!!

anyhow, lets see results first huh? 2morrow im creating the mold for the plenum.

got the manifold cut, forgot to take a picture though, but it looks like its going to fit up great to the gsxr itb's. also took the turbo setup off, car is a lot slower obviously, but still stays on the bumper of my friends 15.1 second car..... so its still a mid 15 car with stock exhaust and an intake and jwt/cobra maf/50lb injectors.......intake is surprisingly quiet compared to my 200sx ser (sr20de) .......cant wait for the itb's.
i still dont have enough money to make a mold for the manifold tho ...................

ps. please send donations to the sage itb-ka24de developement fund via paypal to: im like 20$ of fiberglass and foam and 10 hours away from being able to put them on my car!

How do u guy plan on go to use the outputs from the tps on each throttle body. The ecu only accepts one out put, Sage for you Busa throttle bodies would have been better cause the extra amount of air that the flow. I had a itb KA all stock running with GSXR 750 units and in ran great.
