How much of a hp gain are KA24E pistons?
#2
Its not that simple. Along with changing th e pistons, you much also tune your fuel system to accomodate for the cahnge in CR, and without it youll run lean and kill the motor... all in all, I forgot how much HP... so dont quote me, but im thinking between 10-20 HP?

With the E pistons you need an SAFC. You will need to adjust throttle correction in the + numbers to dump more fuel.
What the e pistons can yield is pretty impractable to tell you what type of HP it can make.
They could make 10 more hp or 50 HP depends on bolt on's , and the way the engine was tuned.....

werd is that it bumps compression to 11:1, and youll probably need bigger injectors bada$$240. nobodys mentioned this yet but im pretty sure youll need to run pemium fuel also, due to it being a high comp motor now. i plan doing this in the future. but with cams you have to get groves made on the top of the piston so your valves and pistons dont hit. right vinnie?

Wouldnt putting groves in your pistons slightly lower your CR? I know this is the case for an 1995 cherokee stroker motor I built a few years ago. You'd have to dish out pistons to 30 cubic mm so you wouldnt have to run preminum.

No. You need to REALLY watch the lift and duration on any aftermarket cams. Yes, youll need high octane (premium, possibly with additives, depending on ignition tuning) fuel, and some have said stockers work fine, others use SR injectors.

dont quote me or anything but id think 550cc are too much on n/a. were talking less than 200horses here. im sure sr 370s will be just fine. and yea putting gooves in the pistons will lower comp ratio but im sure you could gain it back with high comp rings and if your rollin the dough you could reduce the quench area in the head.

ca and vq? (mabey it was vg) springs are interchangeable according to zilvias na ka thread so that gives you more options. kas are so badass. imaging a 2.6 stroker ka with itbs, cams, full valve train, high comp, reving to 8.5 or 9k, pure sex. id love to see those n/a ka's in those baja trucks. i can never find any info on em.
