We are going to have a problem with this. These pics were originally hosted on Zilvia by Scooter (RBS14), I don't believe the admin of that forum has the authority to use his entire write up and call it there own!!!!!!!!.
I'm going to contact him and let him know this is B.S!!!!!!!!

never buy anything from harbor fraight at the regular price, things go on sale so often it's worth it to wait. also if the online price is cheaper print out the page and take it in to the store (if there's one localy) and they'll give it to you for that price.
tig and mig welders are nice but i perfer arc welding, although tig welders can be used for a wide range of jobs.

i just picked up a 12 ton press yesterday i need it to replace the wheel bearing on my dads maxima. i might do another write up on it this weekend.
i've spent so much money there, but i've also saved a lot of money by buying tools there and doing the work myself.

Sorry if I didn't see the answer. I went back and reviewed the forum and post and didn't see anything about controlling air/fuel ratios. Maybe I'm missing something, but how would you control the air/fuel ratio manually. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the ECU do that?
Will the ECU recognize this large quantity of air and just start dumping the fuel?

it ok bro..
a piggy back system such as apexi SAFC ( super air/fuel controller) allows the user to install this component inline with their stock ecu.. this device allows you to manipulate the MAF/MAP reading and simply injects more fuel into the motor. thats the simple version.

its needed anytime that you alter you motor in anyway to read more air over stock... if you don't have some sort of control the ecu will be whacked out, the car will sputter, cut off etc.
there are more functions with-in these piggy back units, but Air/Fuel regulation is the primary function
