Engine rebuilding in Los Angeles area

Quick question - anyone know of a decent, reputable place that can rebuild KA's? My car is dripping oil and it's pushing 177k, and my swap plans have been pushed down the upgrade list in favor of suspension first. If you know anyone good in my area (SoCal, 909-626-818-714) send me some contact info...my friend has an S13 1992 that's also looking for the same service, so there's actually 2 KA's waiting to be brought back to life

Hmm how much longer till you get your sr motor. my car is about 151k and still runnign strong. might not be worth rebuilding if your gonna do a swap. might want to look into just buying another KA might be cheaper then rebuilding. Since everyone is doing swaps now a days KA's are pretty easy to come by. My friend got a 97 KA with 70k for 400 thats with tranny and ecu. Might cost more with parts and everything if you rebuild. but my suggestion is if you plan to do a swap just save up for it. don't throw money into the KA unless its a must.

well I'm pushing the 180k mark soon, and it's developed a constant yet small oil drip (2-4 drops overnight) but it still feels pretty good... I was just wondering just in case I decide to stay with the KA and maybe try MA-T mode some day.
