coolant leaking from back of engine

Ok, swaping my ka24e, for another ka24e
(long story)

Project has gone downhill evrey step of the way
and is just approaching fiasco.

Engine is in car, most evreything is reconnected, was
filling the coolant when it started leaking in the back
near the firewall. I thought I had a torn hose, but
the leak is actually coming from a 12mm bolt, just infront
of where the EGR tube connects.

Anyone know why it would be doing this, or how to
convince it to stop?

so its coming out of your intake mani???
if so you have a bad intake gasket or you didnt tighten the bolts to spec.

There's a special bolt that is used to flush the system. It just a bolt, and you can take the water that won't flush out of the engine when cold. Try takign it out, and puting one fo those gasket material thingys in it. It its coming from the manifold, then refer to above post

I got it. Was a crack in the coolant hose to the plenim, was pooling on the intake manifold, and running down the back off the EGR assembly.

Removed the plenim. Replaced the hose. Reattached.
