AEM Bypass Valve for CAE

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to know the best place to put the AEM Bypass valve and where exactly to cut for the Injen Cold Air Intake.

Any input is great.

Thanks

Yo Vijay.....its Frank. Listen, you can pick the bypass valve up at any perf. shop. Its been out long enough that everyone should have it or can order it for you. I purchased mine from www.landspeedracing.com back in the day........it came to $42 with shipping, but like I said most perf. shops will have it, and it'll go for around $35.

when i had one on my altima, i put it right before the maf. i took it off because i realized your performance will decrease if you put it on. besides..you need to drive through water that is couple feet deep for it to suck any water up.

Did you really notice a big difference in power? I mean its not like the bypass valve hinders the air flow, and what does it add another 4-5 inches to the CAI? I never really tested it before.
