Weird Turbo Setup...

I recently met a guy who was running a t25 on a ka24de, but w/o intercooler or anything... he jus mounted the turbo onto the manifold and did sum weird piping str8 to the intake manifold... and hes running pretty good too.. what you guys think ?

it can be done...its not completely needed to run an intercooler.
checkm out ststurbo.com they have a remote turbo setup that is easy as hell to make yourself but totally functional. best part, no intercoller

yea............ many smaller factory turbo setups run right to the TB but cooling the air is recommended and i mean come on you can have a complete FMIC kit for 200 dollars or just run a side mount setup like i did for about 100 bucks.

cool the charge and prevent detonation.. its not like he is going to be driving the car like ms daisy.

welllllll the turbo manifold oil lines and fittings.. without those you have nothing lol.. and its really in that order...

you need the turbo for size and flange type.. manifold for proper angle and fitment and then oil lines for your style turbo.....fittings are generally -3 to -4 for feed and -10 for return with 1 8th npt fittings.
