Exclamation KA24ET to stomp all!

Ok. I was gonna go with a CA motor bored to a 2.0 liter... but nvm that.

I have 2 KA24E engines so I'm going to build the hell out of one.

Don't flame my choice, don't say ANYTHING about picking a different motor.
I'm gonna prove to everyone that this engine will lay down 500hp.

anyways. EAGLE rods, CP pistons. HKS T04R turbo. . maybe HKS GT3240 idk yet. Hi-Power exhaust. . . HKS and Apexi parts [the works] and of course the infamous Blitz intercooler.

anyways I have all external parts laid out and know what I'm buying.

someone please tell me where the hell I can get metal head gaskets to stand that kind of power, along with a stronger valve and head rebuild kit ?! can't find one anywhere.... 4 hours of looking and I'd rather just ask. lol.

I just need internals. complete engine rebuild.

THANKS!

I've been a member for 2 years and know there may be something on this lol but please no flaming. it's immature. at least on something that isn't abundant in info [like a SOHC KAT ]

um. dude. this is me asking for help. not showing off my 'working-progress' ka-t. you want pics? try the one-off 240's thread.

Biggamehit - thanks that site looks like it'll give me a lot of what i need. if not all of it.

I can't wait to blow the doors off a drifter-wannabe who slapped a SR20 in and thinks he's king of the world.

Everyone around my town bows down to the SR, a few are lucky enough to have an RB25 that lasts about 6 months. and we all dream of RB26's.

and i could be a millionaire from selling the DOHC and SOHC KA engines these fools just chuck to a junkyard.

I mean damn, at least do something differentlike a CA.... lol. timing belts will always be more tuner friendly in my book

well for starters you can always post a pic of the 240 and kae that will be receiving said parts and producing the practically unheard of 500hp. don't get me wrong i love the kae but you need to be realistic about your goals. unless you have a rather substantial amount of money to fund this project i don't see this even getting off the ground.

so like i said, talk's cheap and without any pics of anything that would show some sort of initiative i don't see this taking place. i'll keep quiet now and let you prove me wrong.

You don't need a metal gasket for the KA24e. You can get your standard felpro gasket.

Dude he should swap his ka24e block for an HRT boosted block...
$2900 will get you a boosted internal KA24e with exchange of a core, thats a good deal...
