Where does the Transmission fluid go? Dee dee dee question

Where does the Transmission fluid go? Dee dee dee question

I can't figure out where to put the tranny fuild on my KA24. I know dee dee dee question, but I need some help here. It's a 91 240SX. Thanx for any help! Peace

The fill plug is halfway up the side of the bellhousing nearly parallel with the drain plug, on the passenger side, iirc. It looks identical to the drain plug. I assume you're talking about a 5 speed.

actually if it is a 5 speed it's easier if you remove the shifter and fill it from there.

you can also fill it through the shifter.

some shifter action will work...try to go with some Royal Purple!.....its alot easier to put the fluid thru the shifter.

well the reason i say that is.. i know people who have striped out the 1/2 square hole and only option was the shifter, which is easier...

also if you happen to mess up you drain you have three options.

1) remove speed sensor

2) remove drive shaft

3) weld bolt head or socket onto striped plug.
