**** I should have got the Jetro as well, but I found the standard for much less.
MAP is sex.
Have you tried checking the Apexi USA website? I think installation is as straightfoward as unplugging the old ECU and plugging the new one in. And then drilling/tapping the manifold for the MAP sensor.
From what I know, the Power FD has a "default" running mode so you can still crank over the engine but it will need to be tuned by someone with software and the know how

ya i checked the Apexera website and they didnt have anything but safty warnings and how to plug in the power fc lol...i knew you would have to tap the manifold but that just makes me cringe i dont like drilling holes in the engine LOL

yeah I would just keep that too.
Tapping the manifold shouldnt be too tuff for you. Are you running aftermarket manifold or stock equipment? Either way but out the drill bit and go to town. The only thing I'm not 100% on is location/placement for the MAP sensor.

Yeah I own an authentic GReddy manifold and have compared it to the bootleg MIC (made in china) ones. They are pretty much the same thing. The GReddy is cast aluminum but Im not too sure about the knock-off.
GReddy has better obviously.
What are you doing with your SR that you plan to get a standalone ECU?
