which would be the better choice? help

I need some help choosing which car to buy and wanted some of your opinions because I don't know much about 240's. The first one is an 89, its only $1200 and it burns some oil. other than that, its fine. The next is a 93 and its great, except for a dent on the driver's side and also the speedometer doesn't work, its only $2200. The last one is another 89 and there's nothing wrong with it at all but its also $2200. Which would you say is the better deal? Thanks

what are you looking for? you can do more with the 93 in terms of turbo and things like that. the 1200 89 would probably be really easy to fix. the 89 for 2200 must be imaculate if they want that much for it. honestly if you're looking for a car you can work on the first one is your best bet. the other 2 are a little over priced. i love 240's but unless it comes with upgrades i wouldn't pay more then 1200.

I'd be leaning towards the '89 myself, I personally could fix it for far less than the 1k difference, and maybe invest the money saved inot my first mods.

Thanks, I think I probably will go with the 93. I was just wondering if the speedometer is easy to fix, if its not then how much would it be to get it fixed? Thanks

it could be just a matter of the sensor on your tranny or wires are shot..cheap fix if you know what your doing...i personally would also go with the 93 and go to a junk yard and pickup parts.
