Wiring for a tachometer

I have a question, i wired up my aftermarket tach, and im not recieving the correct signal. I ran the wire to the lead coil pack. It apears the tach is reading about 1/4 of the signal. Does anyone know the wiring scamatics for an sr20det? THanks

Indeed the people here are very knowledgeable. Perhaps if you gave it a little more time and waited a little bit longer, instead of making a smart *** remark, you might just get your answer. Don't get all bent out of shape just because no one answered you yet, just give it time. Have a nice day

the best place to get the tach signal is the injectors, on the top of each injector there is two wires, 8 total, 4 injectors= 8 wires, 4 of these wires will be the same color, common wire, once you have located the common wire it is time to find an uncommon wire on any of the injectors, any of the uncommon wires will be the tach signal you are looking for.

and i have had alot of questions answered on this site, there alot of great knowladgeable people here and you shouldnt get so aggrivated with them, maybe that is why you didnt get a response, ever hear the saying "Dont bite the hand that feeds you"
