My windshield wipers are no longer working. I hear the motor running for them but they don't move. Big problem since I live on the west coast!. Any ideas what this is and how I could fix it??. Thanks alot!.

 

you can start by checking the wiper motor itself. It comes off with 4 bolts, then there's a ball joint that connects the motor to the wiper arm linkage. Be careful when you remove the ball joint, get the motor disconnected then maybe you can see if the wiper motor isn't moving with the switch on.

If the ball joint isn't even connected, then you found the problem

 

You were right man. It was pretty hard getting to all the bolts and getting the motor off. The motor wasn't connected to the wiper arm linkage...guy who owned the car did something funny with it. All fixed now! Thanks!.
