Wilwood clutch question

Wilwood clutch question
I just put a wilwood clutch and slave cylinder on my s13 the other day and was wondering a few things.
1) the pedal itself sits pretty high, almost 5-6 inches closer to me than the brake and almost the 7-8 inches to the left. can i adjust this?
2) the pedal is extremely stiff. When driving my leg shakes to keep from dumping it leaving in 1st. and the same throughout the other gears. Can I make it softer? or possibly shorter? I know the stock clutch pedal has some type of tensioner on the pedal itself, but the willwood doesn't. Is there a screw/bolt or something to adjust the grabbing/release point of the clutch?
I'm currently using DOT-3 brake fluid if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.

Is the pedal physically shorter top to bottom?? Also it's straight right as opposed to the curved design of the stock pedal right?? If so, you basically decreased the leverage and increased the pressure plate stiffness. This equals one very, very stiff pedal. Is this a street car?
