I take it you have no clue as to how many S15's they need to make it legal? Kids these days.
You need at least 6-8 S15's for initial crash testing, then make suggested improvements to the chassis. After that, you go through the same tests again to see if the improvements work, if not, do everything all over again.
It costs millions to get this done, why do you think it costs 30-50K to legalize a Skyline? You end up spending the same money trying legalize an S15 and that does not include crashing the car.

OMG, dont be so damn retarded. Have you not kept up with what is going on about that ****? DOT is now allowed to charge you criminally on a federal level for doing the VIN swap.
I know I've been sounding **** lately, but I rather give people the correct and SAFE info. Why do you think most of those poser skyline importers disappeared in less than a year? Some idiot here in Sacramento illegaly smuggled a GTS-T by claiming it as a parts car (cut the roof) got it in and tried that VIN trick. Luckily for him he was caught prior to the revision and only lost the car and paid a 50K restitution to the State and DOT. Think before you post things that people would be dumb enough to try and get caught for. I've had to argue with kids (dunno why) about importing Supras from Japan, they think that since its already sold here in the US, that its perfectly fine. Guess again, while the chassis may be the same, the engines are internally different preventing them from being smog legal. The list goes on.

true that..i have a friend that does the importing...it takes alot more then you think..it not just buying a car and BAM you have a 50 state legal car..all his stuff is sold as off road "show cars"...getting **** to be legal is expensive and a pain in the ***...why don't you think that we'd see more cars if it was that easy..duh..
wow..
E-Five to Sunny..keeping the **** real

hmm, you're very picky, but trying to find a low mileage sr swap as easy as you think
i rather just start from scratch.. STOCK...
then again, a lot of people just like to buy sumthing that is mildly or heavily modd....
btw, those price range on that supra/240 is too expensive....it should only be in the 10g range and below... wtf....
