Question what to look out for in used 240?

I've looked at couple 240's now. and i've been warned of a few common problems with these cars. I was wondering if there was anything else I should look out for.

i'm interested in buying an 89-93 240SX. so far i've heard of rust around the spoiler, and rust near the rear suspension. is there any other common problem areas on the 240 that i should be aware of?

look at the frame rails in the front where they connect to the firewall...
some are cracked really bad there
in the same area look at the bottom of the frame rail to see how bad they are rusted out.
whild you are under hte car look a the the floor where the seams come together...in the front under where your feet would
and the seam in the back seat area.

also on the driverside under the quater panel, behind the wheel well check to see if the outter quater panesl is still conected to the car...draining in the hatch area is poor

where the exhaust hangers mount to the car...look up there. inside and out. real rust prone area. if it is bad your exhaust hanger can possibly fall off.

be sure the fuel door and hatch pop

timing chain rattle on start-up

what else...?
that's what i know for now about the S13
hope it helps

Pop the hood and check for all parts. I know it sounds retarded, but my friend baught a car without taking a look under the hood and the intake was practically ripped out...ask when last oil change was/last filter changes. And listen to IWS about the pcv valve. Ask about previous owners and previous problems. Check for rust, check drain holes in doors, check your mom to make sure she isn't dead...and that's about it.

Oh yeah, test drive it first.

Ok i know from experiance
Look for:
Rust rounder Spoiler (sometimes they just bondo the visable)
Rust inside the front wheel wells (my struts went in my hood)
Rust in back Hatch
Make sure the car has an air filter ( i pick up my 240 a couple of weeks ago and brought it home and noticed it didnt have an air filter.
Leaks (check all weather striping)
Check HUB they are always broke
