What to do with holes in trunk? (From Spolier)

I've decided to take off my spoiler before I paint the car. I don't like it much. But I'm wondering, how should I fill in the holes? Bondo? The holes shouldn't be too big, so do I really have to use sheet metal? I have no idea how the process goes, so please inform me.

Well you could get thoes little stick on hole covers that look like little spikes or you can weld in some sheetmetal grind it flat and paint over it like I did mine. I have pics in the Style section they show my trunk lid.

Pay a body shop to do it. It will look best that way, even though it will cost more.

yay for home depot..

but if you're going to be painting it.. just use bondo.. put some on... sand it out... put some on... sand it out... keep repeating until the larger holes are gone.. the little ones are easy... but the larger ones take more time if you don't feel like putting "real" metal in.

you should put real metal on though^ bondo is really for filling imperfections in the paint, not holes

I'm repainting my car anyway, or primering it, so I might as well buy a new trunk. But I'll see how the spoiler looks with the aero first.
