The EVO is a great Daily Driver (all year long)....

I would personally buy a 240, and maybe swap. (what ever is left toward the EVO
OR
Put the 12K toward the money i owe for the EVO (if its not paid off)

It looks like my 2 decesions are to either do an major build on the 240 and spend all 12k there or spend 7k on the evo (all thats required to do what im looking to do) and spend 5k on an S13 and SR20 swap with nothing more done to it than the swap and maybe an exhaust. Or a 3rd option to find a way to spend that extra 5k on the Evo...

Already had an SR w/ coilovers, diff and i drifted. I was taught my a seated US D1GP/Forumla D driver and just need to find a place to practice again out here. Also i cant do a 97-98 as emissions would be a b!tch out here. I managed to "get them done" in GA, but it was too much of a hassle. Thats why I want a 95 or under.

2fast: The car looks great in your sig. What all does it have done to it. If you have it when i get the money in I will really consider it, but the fact that its a Kouki will make it hard. Ill talk to one of the local shops and see if he can "help" me out with emissions ;D

If you already had an s13 with all that stuff, I don't see why you even made this thread in the first place. Not to hate, I just don't understand the point.

I had an S14, and in my intro. thread I stated that i was looking into building another 240, but i had been out of the game for a long time, so I was looking to see if there was a good place to buy engines from and parts. I also used to live in GA and Jarco Inc. was pratically in my backyard and thats where i got my old engine from.

I was also wanting to know what i would be able to do with 12k with the prices of parts/labor now. Thats why i started the thread.

im just gonna go ahead and say 12k would build a sick s13 and you could do a ton yourself even at an apt. or an s14 or w/e but spend wisely...don't just spend the 12k. I would spend maybe half and invest some then spend a lil but set a budget and list everything out...my 2 cents a lil late to thread

Congrats bro I just bought an s14 as a DD cause my evo was getting to be a PITA! You can pick up some really nice 240s for about 8k. I know a guys seling a rb25DET swapped 240 for 8k.

Okay, you are only 13 so I will cut you a break. But if you would take a 240 over an Evo you have a sick and twisted world perspective. I am sure the majoity of us would choose an Evo over a 240.
