So far I have looked at three 240s mine (2, 92 and 93 SE coupes) and a hatch (93 no sunroof, manual window and m/t).

And all three have the same GVWR on the door?

3619 lbs exactly.

can someone with a s13 and/or s14 (all/any trim)

tell me what the GVWR is on your S-chassis?

hey brother, my koop is 3619 just like yours. made in 10/92. u should be familiar with my car tho. lol. i think all s13's are gonna be that gvwr. that number seems to be the most weight you can safely support on this particular chassis. but i wonder if it differs if you have a different susupension set up. hmmmm.

I was thinking about calling you and asking you too.

I guess I should NOT base any conclusions from those door jam GWVR stickers.

I seriously expected YOUR car to be a little lighter because it is the base model!!!!!

Both of mine are SE's with sunroof, power windows and wing. . .

Thanks for replying.
and keep in touch, let me know what your doing with the car.

dont mean to sound mean here, but curb weight DOES NOT include any passengers at all. it DOES include the car, tires, all accessories and all fluids and a full tank of gas.

i just got around to weighing my s13 and it came in at 2760 with me, some tools, half a tank of gas and a few other things in it. between me, the tools and the extras i'm guessing that that's about 185lbs. so the car should weigh about 2575lbs add an extra 50lbs to simulate the full tank and it now weighs approximately 2625lbs. that's 74lbs lighter than curb weight yet the car looks to be fairly unaltered. it's not a big difference in weight but at least now i have a point of reference.
