i thought about stripping the back seats and the carpet and keeping the front interior but im not really sure if i wanna do it. its kinda nice to have back seats. i still havent made up my mind though. how much weight would i take off if i stripped it?

yea i believe most of the weight is loset from the sound deadening removal along with the seats..i duno how much exactly though, maybe someone should do a weigh in before and after, im curious as well.

when i had my interior stripped, the car sat noticeably higher with the lowering springs, and it still had the sound deadening... only things i had was the dash, the shift **** and steering wheel

well. personally I don't see the point of stipping interior unless you are getting roll cage for tracks. I would say it saves more weight just to clean out your trunk. Besides everything is going to rattle crazy without the sound padding. And seriously, you really need those back seat unless you have no friends.

umm in my car there is maybe 2-3 inchs between the back seats and the front seats. and unless your under 5'9 then your head is gunna rub on the roof. one more piont in my province i cant have more then 1 passager in my car at a time anyway. my lisence retrisctes it. i'm keeping my leather seats in of course, black leather is sexy.

well i made up my mind and im gonna strip out the carpet and back seats and sound deadener. but what do you use to get the sound deadener out. i was just messing with it today using a flathead to scrape it out and theres got to be a better way to do it. ive heard use a heatgun and a paint scraper. anything thing else?
