weight distribution on rb25det in s13??
#16
i run local mountain roads and ive already put 60000kms (240000km in total) on the engine since i got it. its been running good but ive been having problems with leaks in my rear main seal. since my engine is already showing signs of croaking, i wanted to learn more about engines swaps. if my KA was mint, id never swap it out.
rb would shift more weight to the front creating more oversteer and can be found cheap at local importers in my area. prices between rb and sr is about the same so i wanted to make the right choice. reliability is my main goal but id rather it be an upgrade if im spending money on it.

i already have a KA in my car. i said my main goal is reliability but i would want more power if i was to spend money on this project.
according to my research by visiting local junkyards, used KA24DE with about 2000000kms would cost over $700 just for the engine. time spent swaping another KA and spending money on an engine thats in worse condition then my engine is not worth it for me. thanks for the advice.
