Transverse Link/Tension Rod Bracket removal

Well I recently ran my 240 into a curb, breaking my control arm and bending the tension rod and the transverse link. But I am having serious problems removing the transverse link, I hit the knuckle for about 20 mins and nothing even budged. Is there any other way I could try to remove it? Any suggestions would be very helpful thanks
