Jeez that can be quite a few things.

Try and find out where its coming from for sure. Front of the engine? Brakes? Wheels?

its front the engine. i go past 3k rpm and it starts to squeal. its one of the belts. i orginally thought it was the alternator belt but we tightened the tensioner? something like that it still squeals.

belt conditioner? also. what's the condition of the belts? 240's squeal like nothing when the belts go out & there's no stopping it but replacing. belts are cheap. like $15-22 at pepboys. it's far better to just replace it than to keep on workin on it. it only takes an hour (or 2 at most!) to do it.

I have that squeal. When that car is cold, it squeals at 3k, but then once warmed up it squeals at 4k or 5k when I push it. I was told it was my A/C belt.

Are you sure they aren't too tight?

As jerome said, they might be TO tight. It could also be the pulleys

I would get my a/c looked at maybe. Or the tension is too tight and is creating friction.

I too have that same issue, generally on a really hot day. I have purchased new belts from nissan and the squealing went away for about a week, but now it's back with a vengence. This one has me stumped, any suggestions as to what could be causing it? Maybe the pulley is warped? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that, didn't look at the date, although I am still wondering how this problem was resolved. So if anyone has any suggestion I would greatly appreciate it.

I think it was loose or worn belts.

Kay.
