G35 sedan has been available since last fall. I think the G35 coupes got here this past winter. Both have been on sale here for months.

G35s have been on sale a LONG TIME now. I see them regularly on the streets here in Hawaii. The coupes are NICE, they have the nicest design for a Infinity car(usually I hate infinities look). The four door is alright, shape is different but still nice.

this maybe a late reply, but my friend got a Hong Kong magazine that has a prototype "R35", which is a real car. It has pictures of the car, and it is the G 35 body, but it has fender flares, big ones, they look similar to the WRX's flares. The front also has a bigger frontal opening, and the hood is more integrated into the bumper at the front. The rear has the signature round tailight, and it seems like it wasn't to hard to integrate that into the existing style. But from what he translated, rumors are either a twin trubo V6, electric turbos, or v8. they want horsepower in the upper 300's or looking at mid 400. One thing that the magazine quoted the nissan people saying, was that Nissan is going to claim its place as the company at the forefront of technology, and the Skyline will be four to five years ahead of all other cars, technology wise. Thats all I know, the magazine is a Hong Kong version of motortrend or something.

Have you noticed that Nissan is bringing a lot of their models to the U.S? I think they finally got the clue and are aiming directly at Bmw, MBZ, Audi etc. They have always planned on turbocharging the 350 and soon the g35 will be the same. as for the change in design, i think its because nissan is looking at the global market. the r32-4 were amazing and beautiful cars but i think unless you actually had an interest in the car, no rich guy would be willing to drop 80k for a slightly used r34 when they can get a porsche or even a used ferrari. I can already imagine it, just like how the m3 differs from the base 3 series, the new infiniti g35 gtr (which i'm assuming will be called when it finally hits shores) will be based on the g35 coupe but will be a whole different car w/ different body panels/aerodynamics, performance/tweaked suspension and one crazy *** twin-turbo v6.

edit: i myself actually like how the new g35 looks. when you look at the concept you can see very close resemblance in the c-pillar. They'll probably make the car wider and change the front fascia a little but i think it should stay the way it is

I think that the G35 looks great, but it shouldn't be called the Skyline in Japan. Oh well no need to worry, they are already talking about another Skyline which we already have seen the models and designs. I don't think that we will have to worry
about Nissan, they wont let us down. They have already proven their capability to the world: G35, 350z, 300zx, 240sx, 300z, 280z, 260z, 240z, skyline, silvia, se-r, ect............their not going to stop they have already talked about making all infinti cars either RWD or 4WD, so that just shows you that they aren't calming down a bit.

Same 0 Same 0

The G35 Coupe and 350Z are one in the same..cept for the back seats, few body refinements and of course the infinity emblems... the engine remains same o.

Yes they are pretty much the same engines and body layout, but the G35 to me just looks better. Infiniti plans on making the G35 4WD/ RWD just like the current skylines out in Japan. You will be able to change it a press of a button.

No the G35 Sports Coupe has the ENTIRE interior straight out of the G35 4 door. The engine is still less powerful than the 350Z and the body styling is way different. The theme is similar but the chassis are different. BTW there is no y in Infiniti.
