man just get around a group of good guys in ur area, u will pick up on certain things fast, others u will have to learn for ur self through studying and watching film.

Dont surround ur self with american know it all begginer/amature drifters they are the worst.

another thing dont drift to show off, thats when bad things happen.\

ps reduce the sig man, if u dont know how to resize the pic ill do it for u and send it to u

You can hit up www.drifting.com they have descriptions of all the basic techniques and some good info, plus like half the people on the forum drive 240s.

try this, you know how when you normally make a turn, you'll clutch in as you brake to slow down approaching the turn. Most of the time you'll turn the car after it's slowed down 'n' then clutch out and get in gear to keep going AFTER the turn has been made and your returning to a straight line path. well if you're in an empty parking lot, just do the same things but don't slow quite as much and do the clutch out-in gear-get on gas part while you're car is halfway through the turn. This is going to be pretty bad for your car so make sure everything's working properly and make sure there are NO obstacles near you that you can hit...

^^ the shift lock technique is good, however, should be done only on wet surfaces. If dont on dry ground to much, oem parts/Drivetrain will def break. Even aftermarket parts take a beating when such a shock is given to them.

ps i love shift lock in the rain. i drifted about 4 corners on the way home 2am in the morning the othre day lol.
