i reccomend buying transparent vinyl as it is easy to remove if you ever need to:

you can just dust the lenses with gloss black and then clearcoat them, or mix clearcoat and gloss base coat and airbrush on

thats looks pretty cool. do you have a black car? if so i have this wierd idea to paint the signals straight black and wire the reverse lights as turn signals. (how often do you reverse and signal at the same time? lol.

I took your advice. My signals are blacked out and my reverse lights are now signals. Looks good 
had to sacrafice the reverse lights that I didnt have lol. I'll take some pics with lights installed soon
