Smoked stock signals

Ok, So Im bored, I have an extra set of tails laying around. I wanna smoke my amber signals? How would I go about it? Should I sand and prime?

VHT Nightshade..clean them up really good, spray even coats on them, then wetsand and clearcoat.

i reccomend buying transparent vinyl as it is easy to remove if you ever need to:

you can just dust the lenses with gloss black and then clearcoat them, or mix clearcoat and gloss base coat and airbrush on

ok, Im painting my center garnish too :P Just black to match my car lol, Fake 180 lights lmao, Im too poor right now :P

i made some red/clear s13 tails a while back. and i've redded out a few s14 tails for myself/buddies

thats looks pretty cool. do you have a black car? if so i have this wierd idea to paint the signals straight black and wire the reverse lights as turn signals. (how often do you reverse and signal at the same time? lol.

I took your advice. My signals are blacked out and my reverse lights are now signals. Looks good had to sacrafice the reverse lights that I didnt have lol. I'll take some pics with lights installed soon
