s15 front clip on s14 kouki

hello everybody, after researching the 240sx and all of its possibilities for the past few months. i believe i have decided on a s14 kouki with a sr20det engine. now i have seen plenty of s15 conversions on s13, and my question to you is can you put s15 bumpers,headlight,ect... on a s14 kouki. please dont flame me if this is a stupid question. just let me know if its possible and if its easier than a s13 conversion.

its pretty much bolt in if you get a shop or can put the S15 core support in, and get the conversion fenders. Or, you can keep the stock core support and cut some holes in it and get the conversion fenders. The hood and bumper bolt on.

P.s. I think you are lucky i read this and decided to be nice, most of the other people will be like " Go search, Its been covered many times"

But if you seach you will find alot of helpful info.

Like barcode said it is possible. There is an excellent write up in the style section of the forums, it is for an s13 but it is basically the same for both chasis. Also, in your case, since you are swapping front ends, it would be cheaper to purchase a zenki s14 and do the swap, then you can just get the kouki tails and it would look the same as if you'd purchased a kouki in the first place, but will save you money.

as already reccomended a zenki (preferable a 95 obd1) would be ideal for price/availability/ sr swap/smog/less pain in general

wait what? you are going to buy a zenki and convert it to a kouki? althought that is a cost effective, the whole reason why people were telling you to get a zenki in the first place is because you were doing the S15 front end conversion.

oh and you cant just buy the lights to do a kouki conversion, you need bumper, fenders, hood, lights, and brackets (?).

also in case you didnt know, there is a difference between a S14 kouki and an S15.
