Hey guys, I just got a set of leather seats that the guy told me were out of an S14. They are power, were my old ones are not. I am sure i can find a way to power them up, but my question is, has anyone swapped frame and tracking over from a manual seat to a power seat? My tracks on the power seat are not the same as the manual, and they are not a direct bolt in like I have read in other posts. I would need to massage the rails to make them work, then like i mentioned, run power to them. It might be easier just to strip the seats and try to mount them on the old framing. Has anyone done this before. Thanks.

 

S14s did not have power seats. ever.

S14 seats should jus bolt right in, and you would just run power and ground. but since the seats you have are power.. AND they dont bolt right in, theyre not S14.

Seats are surley not off a 240, I am thinking they might have been from maybe an altima or more of a sporty sedan based vehicle. The guy i got them from said they came from his freinds S14, and i did not realize my error until i pulled my old seats and say the difference in the tracks and sliders. Well, I got them cheap, and they are nice seats, but are just not going to work for this car. I am sure I will find a good home for them. Thanks for the input.
