WHat is the process to roll the fender? Is it to cut the inner lip every few inches and then use a rubber mallet and hit it. Thanks for any help.

my friend had a fender rolling machine he got from our friend who works a raceshop here. Im sure you could rent one from a race shop near you.

if you want to go ghetto style just take a baseball bat and do that... but i would recomend the fender rolling machine

Nice, didn't know they actually had a machine that did that. In the ghetto, my approach is the one that is "handed down" I will definitely look into that. Thanks and BTW it looks good and clean unlike some of the ones done around here.

Import, actually there is an easier way to do this, go to the paint shop grab a 1/2 pint of paint for a few bucks, get access to a air powered dremel tool and cut the lip out, I have rolled the fenders in my civic and it sucked so I cut them out instead. Besides I know people who have gotten the rolling machine done and it can possibly mess up your 1/2 panel and put dents into your car....

Also another interesting point, but if I use a Dremel wouldn't that leave a jagged edge and can possibly gut the tire also? Didn't know about the machine causing dents, will definitely have to look at other alternatives too.

The roller attaches to your wheel goes and is cranked outwards while rolling the fenderwall out.

I think I might have to do the same after I change my TC rods. I think the problems I am getting is with the rods right now. Passenger wheel rubs when taking hard turns.

Your car looks great. What width tire are you running?

im only running 215s on the front but run 6mm spacers.

I didn't go with the solid rods. I was new to the game (still am I have only had my car for 4 months). I purchased the PDM whiteline filled tc arms.

My next car will be hardcore. I mean ultra off the wall custom stuff.

I will tutor with oldtimers and learn their ways. I am diggin my uncle Mike the "Datsun carb king".
