OSW drift night #5 pictures

This was my first time using the 17-85 IS. I will say that IS helps out alot with slow shutters but it still isn't good enough. I'll post more as I edit them.

Thanks. The sc is a really good driver. Before they started setting up clipping points and making people slide in the X he was sliding the whole oval connecting it all. He puts on a great show and has great contol.

Cheesy adobe photo shop if you ask me.
When you take a still image you don't get that type of background effect.

na i dont think thats photoshop. when you take a picture of something moving with the camera shutter speed at a higher rate say like f stop 64 the backround will be blurry when an object is moving. but if it is photoshop ****ing ill **** sick photos.

It's called panning. Look it up. Shutter speed started out around 1/60th and dropped as the night went on. Make sure that you keep the camera pointed right at the car and follow it. You'll get the car in focus because the camera is staying with it but the background will be blurry because your moving the camera.

Your right though when you do take a still picture you don't get that type of background.
