you can do it very easily.. considering the fact you can fully forge the motor for about 1700 dollars.... i use that figure because on AMS performance site... thats what a Forged rebuild kit runs there..... very very affordable.... minus the machine work ( 150-200 bucks for basic work) and i think any young man could assemble his motor along with a FSM by his side and guides available online

its just metal Lego's

sooo, i took off my valve cover and front timing chain cover, and...

tadaah. there are chunks of metal all up in my timing chain, (i'm like 99% sure the tensionser broke. also, my upper timing chain is loose as minona rider on a tuesday, when i try to turn engine from the crank, cams dont move, but the chain does. soooo this engine is completely trash.

not only is it destroyed timing chain assembly, but that ish bent the valves bad (gotta pull em to see full damage.. i cant wait) which in turn probably damaged one or more pistons.

yes, the chain guides were removed. upon further inspection, it is the lower timing chain tensioner, not the upper. the long plastic one. the lower chain is so loose, you can jump teeth with your hands. the upper chain was loose too, but not nearly as bad. damage is the same tho, the skip in the timing caused bent valves, so that ish is no good.

still looking for a engine near wisconsin.
ooh and i am slowly installing my 5lugs with s14 SE wheels. i know its not that special, but im excited.
