yeah nissan will make a key for you....but be careful!!!!

i lost 2 of my 3 keys and i went to the nissan dealer**** in the town i lived (not the city i bought the car in) and they tried to tell me it would be 140 dollars per key because of the computer chip i have in my key....so i was all pissed off about having to dish out 280 dollars just to have 2 keys made...so i went to another dealership and they ALSO tried to tell me that it would be SUPER expensive....and out of despiration i went to a 3rd nissan dealer**** and they made me 2 keys and only charged me 25 dollars!

the moral of the story is: shop around, car dealerships are as bad as everyone sez they are.

If it is just a regular key, not the ones with computer chip like leiferik has, then your local Wal-mart or locksmith would probably be cheapest.

I got a copy of my key made at home depot, cost me like, 4 bucks. They have blank keys for all different cars and you just tell them what car you have. The only thing is that the lady who cut it didnt do a great job, and i have to jiggle the copy to open the lock. But oh well, its only for backup.
