New to S-chassis

How's it going everyone? I'm new to the site, as far as registration goes, but i've been reading your DIY's and all kinda of mess to help me along with my new toy, a Black Zenki SE, my new pride and joy..... she has a ton of miles ( just turned 255K) but she runs like new (one owner no accident since new-Carfax), and still smokes 'em halfway through third.
I have full plans on doing may mods to my car to get it fast and have been using these threads in this site to build her in what little ways my budget can afford. I just want everyone to know that your inputs, responses etc. have helped me greatly in my pursuit of speed... and i hope to further advance this site with my own DIY's with photos and videoand possible dyno sheets for guys like me who are just starting out with 240's. Just want to say thanks for providing this site and all the posts therein. Just bear with me as i get used to the lingo (i.e "ftw" "IMO" etc.) and maybe ignorant posts that may make me seem like a total noob.
Once again thanks for you time in reading this and hope to have a long and fruitful with this site and my high mileage S14!!!!!

As one of the people here for absolutely no reason(don't own a 240sx) glad to see you registered and hope to see more from you and your car!

i'm sure he was talking about the oil in the cylinders. that's about the only smoking a 240 with 255,000 miles will be doing.

ha ha ha..... no smoked the tires.... my 255k 240 burns no oil, it smoked em cause i had one bald *** tire on the one that that actually spins.... it was hella crazy, since those crappy tires, I've got some Bo-Bo 17" Motegi MR7 gunmetal rims with hankook ventus HR2 tires.... doesn't smoke em as much, far more grip.... and you guys would be surprised how well she runs with all the miles she has.... i know i was.... my neighbor has a DE sitting in his carport that he pulled out of his donor car, i'm gonna see about building that with forged internals and balanced crank and doing a KA"T" build, of which i'l be posting pics and procedures.... it's a complete motor minus the head, he sold that a while back, but I'll just swap mine on it when it's ready to go in...... now if only money will start flowing........
