need some electrical problem

my meters fuse keep on blowning... so far i replace it 3 times within yesterday and today. yesterday the first time the meters fuse blown.the rpm, speed, and temperature gauges doesn't work.then today the second time the meters and radio fuse was blown.so my mp3 deck doesn't work. i also replace both fuses. then i was driving to get some gas and the meter fuse blown on me again, this time the slide seat belt didn't work along with the rpm, speed, and temperature gauge..i'm pretty sure i don't have any wires touching each other.i don't know what can cause this..anybody have a clue about this..???

the reason you have a certain amp rating on your fuses is to protect your wiring and electronics on the other side. you must have too high of an amp draw and its causing your fuse to blow. either that or your wires are getting pinched/worn somewhere and touching ground or each other.

I dont really agree with throwing a higher amp fuse in there cause it could cause other problems like melted wires or your electronics could get damaged. Something in your circuit is prob going bad and causing too big of a draw. Did you tap into your power around your radio to add something?

haven't touch the radio...before my meter fuse start to blown, i was removing my tar so i got the seat removed. i notice there was a ground wire under the seat connected to the car. it was tight not lose or anything..then yesterday i took the car out for a drive and was flooring pretty hard, then as i slow down the rpm, spd, temp gauges just stop working.i got home and check the meter fuse and it was out, so i replace it with another 10.that was when the fuse start blowing.then today i have replace the radio and meter fuse with 10.then i drove to get some gas and the meter fuse blow, the slide belt didn't work and gauge didn't work.when i got home i replace it with a 15..

sounds like you'll have to take the dash off and look for the short.
