Need help...cold engine cuts out????
Hi I am new to this forum...
I have a 89 240sx se I just started work on my car . I just put an (Megan racing 2.5) exhaust and (injien) intake. Now I'm having problems when the engine cold (morning or night). When I started up the engine, it revs fine and then it dies out. I litterally have to keep my foot on the gas to keep the engine running. The car dirves fine if you keep the engine running. Once the engine warms up the it does not cut out. I tried cleaning the MAF but the problem is stilll there. Did anybody go through the same problem. any suggestion would help..thanks...
PS if anybody have information about a 240 meet in So Cal let me in..

Both idle low and suddenly quits... what mean is when it's cold the engine just dies if I don't keep the revs up by playing with the pedal. if the engine is warm then the engine sometimes idle low but does not die...I still don't know what the heck is going on?
What do you think?

it has to be that the O2 sensor is not getting the same flow as before, and now in the morning the flow is so litle and so cold, it doesn't work, so the computer literally either mix the fuel to richt or too lean. Try testing your O2 if it hasn't been replaced, or rasing the idle.
