if you still have the original exhaust set up, and it not falling apart becuase of rust, keep it and use that money on something else. imo the oem exhaust is best.

for a na application 2.25"-2.5" is fine but yes, for forced induction 3" be better.

you can but......you would be setting yourself up for failure with a more restrictive exhaust system.

it all depends on the engine also, iirc the mustang uses 2.25" and it's dual exhaust set up doesn't seem to hindered hp and tq.
