coolant leaking under intake manifold

the problem with my car is that the coolant dribbles out whenever i use the ac(sohc). i just replaced the upper/lower radiator hoses to see if it would help, but it didnt. it isnt leaking from the water pump lyk i thoght before so i finally got pissed off and shoved my hand up under the engine(burning my fingers at the same time) and found that the coolant is leaking out of a hose next to the lower radiator hose(engine side; to the left of lower hose if ur looking from above on the passenger side). its about half the size of the radiator hose so my guess is its an ac related hose. does anyone have a better guess of what hose that is? and yes, it is coolant coming out, not water.

Thats odd. Never had a car leak coolant only when the AC was on. If it was the heater then it would make more since. It would be the heater core.

It could be something leading to the heater core though. Because with the AC on the heater core will build up pressure and cause it to leak. Get a radiator pressure test and pump it to the psi that the cap says. Leave it for a few hours and see if it goes down. If not run your AC and see what happens.

well last night when i drove mycar all my coolant fizzled out of one of the hoses. it was leaking out onto the block and steaming and dripping down to the oil pan. the steam was coming from the lower hose area so im gonna rip everything apart tomorrow, double clamp that lower hose on and replace that "L" shaped hose that goes to the intake manifold. it has to be one of those.

yea... i'd say a gasket is blown too... run it while looking at your engine and watch for anything fizzing out

i ripped everything apart today(just short of ripping off the manifold) and yea...as soon as i started lossening that U shaped hose, coolant started leaking out so im pretty damn sure thats where its from(and that hose is lyk all the way back under/behind the manifold. thank god i didnt have to pull it off. it was a ***** and a half getting off the throttle body/runners and the fuel rail.
